Who We Are

Men for Christ is a men’s small group ministry; part of the small group ministry of Brookwood Church, Simpsonville South Carolina. This men’s small group was founded and is based on the principles of Promise Keepers to encourage, mentor, and develop Godly men in our church community. We combine the small group functions of Bible study, discipleship, mentoring, accountability, fellowship, and service into a Christ centered men’s small group.

Mission Statement
Our mission as Men for Christ is to bring men to Christ through group interaction and keep men in Christ through accountability with other men.

Our Vision
Our vision as Men for Christ is to create a Christ centered men’s group open to any man seeking a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ no matter where they are on their spiritual journey; unsaved, saved, new or mature believer. Where every man can grow, learn, be encouraged, and serve our Lord Jesus Christ.

Statement of Beliefs
Our statement of beliefs is the same and in full agreement with our parent church, Brookwood Church. Please see the Brookwood Church Statement of Beliefs.In addition, we also align ourselves with the Promise Keepers Statement of Faith from whose principles this group was first formed.

What We Value
As Men for Christ we value the truth in God’s Word the Holy Bible, a lifestyle grounded in principles of scripture, authentic lives, a broken heart, a submissive spirit to the Holy Spirit, accountability, and service to our King Jesus Christ.

Membership
Membership in Men for Christ is OPEN to all men seeking Christ not limited by attendance or membership at Brookwood Church.

What to Expect
At Men for Christ gatherings you can expect a varied mixture of Godly men from all walks of life. We are a group of men with different backgrounds, occupational and religious. Representatives of all age groups and human diversity are found and welcomed in our group. We all meet together to learn more of Jesus Christ and God’s Word through Bible studies, Christian book studies, and biblical teaching.

As a group we grow in our relationship with Christ, pray together as men, serve together as brothers, and become accountable to God and each other. We love Christ and each other while having joy the whole time doing it!
